THE LOST TEXT
Why Was It Never Found?

(8) Acts 20:7 "And upon THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight. And there were many lights in the upper chamber, where they were gathered together."
It says Paul preached to them when they gathered together to break bread, on the first day of the week. However they did break bread every day. Breaking bread means "to eat", not to have communion like some say. Does it say you should gather together every week, on the first day and break bread together? Does it say that the first day is the Christian Sabbath or the Lord's Day? It says Paul preached until midnight. Does that mean you should gather together on the 1st day each and every week and preach until midnight? No, No, No.
We have covered all of the times the 1st day of the week is mentioned in the New Testament. You can't say we're teaching from the old testament. Now, the only other time the 1st day of the week is mentioned in the Bible is in the Old Testament.
