THE LOST TEXT
Why Was It Never Found?
(5) John 20:1 "THE
FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK cometh Mary Magdalene
early, when it was yet dark
unto the sepulcher."
John wrote the Book of Revelation,
The Gospel of John and the Epistles. He wrote the Book of Revelation in
AD 96. He wrote the Gospel of John in AD 100, 4 years after The Revelation.
In John 20:1
he didn't call the 1st day of the week the Lord's Day, but in Revelation
1:10 says, "I was in the Spirit on the Lord's
day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet...
Let's get this
straight. He wrote in Revelation
1:10, written in AD 96, "I was in the Spirit
on the Lord's day...", it doesn't mention that it was the first day of
the week does it? It simply says, "I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day..."
If Sunday had become the Lord's Day, when writing the Gospel of John, 4
years later, he would have called it the Lord's Day. Instead, he called
it, "THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK",
John
20:1. This confirms
that the Lord's Day and THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK are 2 separate days.
